Palworld shook up the gaming industry earlier this year by reaching new heights. The game blended inspiration from various titles and mixed them together to create a unique gaming experience. It encourages players to find friends as they unravel a wide variety of biomes and explore the vast map.
At the time of writing, the creature-catching game had a peak of 128,481 players in the past 30 days, compared to a peak of 2,101,535 players in January, according to Steam Charts.
Pocketpair’s player retention is so strong in part because of the attention it has paid to the title. Following its early access release, the developer released a content update featuring raid bosses like Bellanoir, adding a late-game boss battle for players to compete in, giving them more content to grind for and exclusive friends and high-quality loot to prepare for the upcoming summer update.
