Paramount Australia and Football Australia have entered into a multi-year, multi-platform agreement to broadcast a comprehensive package of soccer matches played by the men’s national team (Socceroos) and women’s national team (Matildas). The deal, which includes terrestrial broadcaster Network 10 and streamer Paramount+ in Australia until 2028, was brokered by IMG.

Network 10 and Paramount+ will be the exclusive home of all Australian women’s national team matches for the next four years, including the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil through to the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

The deal also applies to senior national team matches, including all AFC Asian Qualifiers (2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers Final Round), excluding the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“Reclaiming the national team rights from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and securing the broadcast rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 are strategic moves designed to maximise control over our content, improve accessibility for fans and unlock new revenue streams,” said James Johnson, CEO of Football Australia.
