Riot Games has done its best to keep the controversial pay-to-win system out of VALORANT, but an unintended feature of the latest Mystbloom skin collection apparently allows players to see enemies through walls.

As noted in several VALORANT clips shared by the community on May 2, if you look at the Mystbloom Sheriff or Operator weapons while aiming at an enemy on the other side of a barrier and move them at a certain angle, you can see a strongly colored silhouette of the enemy through the wall.

Players, without any hesitation, immediately dubbed the Mystbloom collection as a “pay-to-win” collection, even though Riot developers have always assured fans that VALORANT will never (intentionally) offer skins with a competitive advantage.

Perhaps the best takeaway here is that the bug isn’t easy to replicate in a competitive situation, so farming the advantage is harder than you might think. However, you can use it to wallbang enemies who are very close to a wall, which is a broken advantage if you’re holding certain spots (say, Lotus’ A Tree). Additionally, there’s a good chance that your account will be flagged and reported if you use the exploit to win fights.
