Fans of the popular horror game Phasmophobia have been eagerly awaiting its release on consoles. Despite a few unexpected setbacks, including a fire at the developers’ studio, players are increasingly frustrated by the lack of information and updates about the console release. Rightly so, as they’ve been waiting for it for over a year.

Kinetic Games recently announced the release of a Phasmophobia-themed Voodoo Doll in collaboration with Makeship, which has been met with mixed reactions from fans. On one side, we have fans who are grateful and understand that creating merchandise takes little effort and resources, but others just want new stuff or the promised port.
A Reddit user with the top comment noted that "probably 1 or 2 people from the team met for a few hours to discuss collaboration with the plushies' creators." In replying, a developer confirmed that it took even less time (about an hour to send out the screenshots and approve the design).
Meanwhile, one fan vented his frustrations, reacting to the announcement: "Add the console release to that too." Another agreed: "If this continues, GTA 6 will be the first to come out."
