On May 7, Microsoft shuttered four studios, Arkane Austin, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog Studios, and Roundhouse Games, in a move that enraged the gaming community. Now, one community member appears to have gotten revenge by destroying Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer's base in Fallout 76.
Xbox CEO Got Screwed in Fallout 76
On the evening of May 8th, Fallout 76 players began reporting that Phil Spencer’s Fallout 76 base had been destroyed by a nuclear attack. His character is apparently called “P3,” and numerous players have reported encountering him in-game. Judging from screenshots posted yesterday, P3’s base has been completely destroyed.

In another post, a player shared a video showing the destroyed P3 base after the nuke. Unsurprisingly, most players found it funny. “Thank you for your service,” one player wrote. A few felt it was definitely deserved given Microsoft’s recent actions that many consider detrimental to the gaming industry. Another Fallout 76 player joked that Spencer is “going to close his studio” as revenge.
