The latest update to the Pixel Buds app adds a new widget that users can add to their Android home screen to easily access their earbuds’ individual settings. 9To5Google spotted the change in the version 1.0. 3909 update, and the new widget addresses a complaint that many Pixel phone users have voiced in recent months.
On most Android phones, the Pixel Buds app will appear in the app drawer. On Pixel phones, however, the individual Pixel Buds options can be found in the phone’s settings.
The update will allow users to add a widget to each pair of Pixel Buds they own, giving them quick access to settings directly from their phone’s home screen.
