Plantronics Voyager Legend UC Extensive Review + Microphone Test
The Plantronics Voyager Legend is a middle-of-the-road option that’s a solid option for average users. When Plantronics designed this Bluetooth headset, they did so with convenience and connectivity in mind, throwing in some interesting sensor features, some level of water resistance, and even voice assistant integration.
The fit in a user’s ear and the sound quality inherent in that loose fit leave something to be desired, so don’t bother looking at these if you plan on taking calls in extremely noisy environments. But if you want a reasonably priced Bluetooth headset with a lot of convenience and solid voice clarity, this could be a great option.
The external appearance of most of Plantronics’ more “active” Bluetooth headsets is largely the same: a grille-adorned boom mic emerging from a cylindrical driver housing, a clear silicone ear tip, and a bulky behind-the-ear housing that houses most of the headset’s internal workings, including the battery. This design is somewhat intentional, as it places many of the components behind your ear and seemingly out of sight, but that fact does have some implications when it comes to comfort (we’ll get to that in a moment).
