Every time Bloodborne is mentioned, a fan somewhere goes nuts, especially if the mention sparks hope for a remaster or remake. Now, Bloodborne has been listed on PlayStation Stars as a PS5 title, causing the game’s ever-loyal fandom to snort the hopium once again.

Screenshots of Bloodborne's PS5 label on the PlayStation Stars program, Sony's digital rewards system, started circulating today. There's nothing to indicate that Bloodborne has been or will be updated for the PS5, but it was enough to get fans speculating, hoping that Sony is hiding something and is waiting to show it to the world.
If you haven't been following the Bloodborne situation closely, it's one of the few first-party PS4 exclusives that hasn't received a PS5 overhaul in an effort to modernize the game with Sony's latest tech. Now that it's even been talked about, it gives fans hope that Japanese publisher still has Bloodborne on its mind.
Players discussed the issue at length in a July 10 Reddit thread, using the screenshots as their "daily Bloodborne copy." While some fans are grasping at straws and questioning anything that might happen in the future, such as a Bloodborne update, remaster, or PC port, others remain skeptical, believing it to be nothing more than a visual glitch in the depiction of PlayStation Stars. One player noted that even if it was a bug, it's a good way to "keep [players] fanatical about the franchise."
