Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: Better Together! Tandemaus & Maushold Debut! #pokemongo #pogo #pokemon
Maushold was supposed to appear as an Ultra Unlock reward, a series of events in late July. We don't know which of the two Ultra Unlock events would feature the new Pokémon, but we can still expect to see them after the Pokémon Go Fest 2024 event ends, which players can enjoy now. It's come as a surprise to many Pokémon Go fans that the Niantic team is continuing to introduce Pokémon from the Paldea region, while the team has teased that they're making plans to explore the Galar region, featured in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

The announcement comes from the official Pokémon Go Twitter account, which reveals the Maushold form but doesn't show off the full artwork. Instead, we get a shadow figure of the Pokémon, but eagle-eyed fans should be able to recognize this adorable mouse family right away. Maushold and its starter form, Tandemaus, first appeared in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games.
