The schedule for the August 2024 Pokémon Go events is here. While it’s a little less exciting than July’s Pokémon Go Fest and Ultra Unlock events, there are still some fun things to look forward to.

In terms of new Pokémon debuts, there’s nothing to get excited about right now. The first event of the year focuses on already-obtainable fossil Pokémon and their Shiny forms, all of which have been available for a while now. There could be a few more surprises down the road, depending on what Niantic has in store for everyone.

Adventure Week kicks off in August with a bountiful spawn of Fossil Pokémon. It’s the road to the Pokémon World Championships starting on August 16, before the month wraps up with a series of Community Day events and the currently unknown Trimpuph Together event on August 23.
