From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on April 16, you’ll be able to see Caterpie, Weedle, and Wurmple appear in the wild at the same time more often. During that time, a special Spotlight Hour event bonus will go live that applies across the entire game, not just to Pokémon Go encounters. Here’s what you need to know about Caterpie, Weedle, and Wurmple’s triple Spotlight Hour to make the most of it.
During the Caterpie, Weedle, and Wurmple Spotlight Hour on April 16, the Hairy Bug Pokémon and two Worm Pokémon will spawn more frequently in the wild from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. You'll also earn double Stardust from all Pokémon you catch during that time.
With three types of Pokémon appearing during this event, this is a great opportunity to stock up for the future thanks to the double Stardust bonus.
