If you're a fanatic Pokémon Go player, chances are you've attended a physical event at some point each year. These events usually take place at the beginning of the year or in the summer.

These events are mostly held in Europe, North America, and Japan, with a few smaller events in warmer climates. There are also a few special events outside the calendar, but it is usually easy to guess when and where an event will take place.
When you think of live Pokémon Go events, you probably think of Go Fests, and recently other events like Pokémon Go Tour and Safari Zones have been created to offer a smaller, in-person event in places that might be too hot to host a Go Fest in the summer. Will there be other events in the future?
When I met Pokémon Go Director Michael Steranka at Pokémon Go Fest Madrid on June 14th, I asked him if there was anything else in the pipeline, like a Go fest-lite. I wasn’t expecting an answer at first, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got one.
