The final Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour for April is tied to another event, putting Clefairy in its proper, moonlit spot. And it comes with the usual gameplay bonuses tied to the event type.
Details about Clefairy's spotlight hour in Pokémon GO!
From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time on April 30, players will see Clefairy spawn more frequently, just a few days after Cleffa received a Hatch Day event. The OG Fairy-type Pokémon will close out the April calendar as Pokémon Go transitions into a May event series filled with new encounters and Go Fest preparations. If you're looking to take advantage of this Clefairy Spotlight Hour and the gameplay bonuses that come with it, here's a guide to what to expect.
The Clefairy Spotlight Hour will run from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. Clefairy will spawn more frequently in the wild, and all Pokémon Go players will earn double XP for catching Pokémon during the event period.
Unfortunately, since Clefairy is the only Pokémon with increased spawn rates during that event, the double capture XP isn’t the best bonus if you’re not interested in Spotlight Hour. But it’s fine for Clefairy fans, since you can hunt down Shiny and then use your collected Clefairy Candy to train up a powerful Clefable for use in the Go Battle League. To evolve a Clefairy into a Clefable, you only need 50 Clefairy Candy.
