Pokémon Go players are praising Niantic so much for the recent Mega Rayquaza event that they're eager for the event to return.

The makeup event was a one-day extravaganza that saw Mega Rayquaza pop up all over the world. Fans have pointed out a few things about the event that stood out more than anything Niantic has done in the past. And it was all communicated flawlessly.
"This event was too good. No raiding issues or lags. Niantic also informs us WHEN THEY SPAWN (the time) and HOW MANY TIMES THEY SPAWN IN THE SAME GYM (2 times every 25 minutes with a 5 minute break). Huge Niantic win." was the message most fans shared on Reddit when singing Niantic's praises.
Most of the praise goes to Niantic’s communication leading up to the event, something it felt sorely lacked in the eyes of its players. Knowing when raids would spawn, how often, and other bonuses like increasing Remoe Raid Passes felt like Niantic was listening to the feedback from its community and making sure everyone had a chance to participate and know what was happening.
