With the start of Pokémon Go's Shared Skies season, in addition to a ton of upcoming events, we're also receiving a handful of Battle League move changes. These buffs and nerfs are sure to shake up your favorite teams and give you more options for who you can use in battle.
Unveiling of Shared Skies ELO | Pokemon GO Battle League
We won’t be adding any new moves at the start of the Shared Skies season, which is a bit different from the World of Wonders Battle League update. However, there are several changes to some fan-favorite Pokémon Go attacks, and a handful of Pokémon will be able to learn new moves, potentially giving them some needed attacks that make them more viable choices. We’ll go over every move change coming to Pokémon Go’s Shared Skies season, highlighting the positives and negatives of each.
There are only a handful of buffs and nerfs coming to moves for Pokémon Go’s Shared Skies season. While the season kicked off on June 1, these move changes are coming on June 3 at 12:00 p.m. CT. These won’t be the most significant changes in Pokémon Go history, but they do include some notable changes, most notably with Spark, which received a heavy nerf. Any Lanturn fans will likely feel this quite a bit in future battles.
After the Shared Skies season went live in Pokémon Go on June 1, several Pokémon gained some additional attacks for their movesets. You can use a Fast TM or Charged TM to randomly roll to teach these moves to that Pokémon, or you can use an Elite version to guarantee it, but I recommend holding on to an Elite Fast or Charged TM to use on a Legendary Pokémon. Surprisingly, Naganadel gained a new move and can now use Dragon Claw.
