Niantic has revealed the Pokémon Go schedule for August 2024, and four Pokémon are getting the Spotlight Hour treatment this month.

Spotlight Hours are popular weekly mini-events that last for an hour every Tuesday night. They spawn one specific Pokémon in large numbers, making it easy for players to catch, evolve, and hopefully get a Shiny version of it during the event's duration.
Each weekly event also has unique bonuses, such as an increase in XP, Candy, or Stardust depending on which Pokémon you encounter.
Spotlight Hours will run from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time on the days listed above. Spotlight Hours will always be on a Tuesday, without exception. Any Pokémon this month could be Shiny, but the odds are not higher, so you'll be lucky if you find one.
