Luxury car manufacturer Porsche is fully committed to the electric car craze.
New Porsche Macan Revealed: I'm Totally SHOCKED!
The company has just unveiled all-electric versions of its popular Macan compact SUV and 718 sports car, it was announced during Porsche's annual meeting and detailed in a press release.
They didn't release pricing information, but did say the Macan would be available "soon" and the 718 would launch sometime in 2025. They also noted that the all-electric 718 is inspired by Porsche's Mission R concept race car.
The two upcoming EVs join the all-electric Porsche Taycan and a range of hybrid vehicles, but that's just the tip of the electric iceberg for Porsche. They've also set a goal of 80 percent of company sales coming from EVs by 2030.
