Ubisoft has given fans a 2026 release date for the highly anticipated remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
An EXCITING 2024 update for Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time surfaces
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was originally set for release in 2021. The remake was delayed after initial footage was poorly received by fans. Luckily for those same fans, the years of silence are finally over following Ubisoft's Forward event on June 10, and the franchise classic now has a release window and a tiny new visual to intrigue potential players.
The release window announcement came at the end of a lengthy Prince of Persia segment, which featured news of a free content update and DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, alongside the Sands of Time release window.
The visual shows the stump of a burned-out candle slowly growing and rekindling its flame, referencing the game's time-bending elements. Other than that, there's nothing else to show fans how the remake is progressing.
