With less than two weeks to go until launch, Treyarch and Activision are hard at work preparing for the full release of Black Ops 6, making detailed announcements covering everything from gameplay to sound design.
Black Ops 6: The BEST SETTINGS you MUST use! (BO6 Best Controller, Graphics & Audio Settings)
Sound is always a point of contention in Call of Duty, or any multiplayer game for that matter. Hearing an opponent coming toward you can be the difference between holding on and having the entire lobby laugh at you. Thankfully, Treyarch thinks it will deliver “one of the most technically impressive soundscapes we’ve ever created.”
In a new CoD blog post, Treyarch said it's working on "enhancing the 3D soundscape to new levels, allowing players to better sense the location, speed, and direction of nearby activity, allowing them to react more effectively and achieve even greater immersion."
“The goal for the Black Ops 6 audio team is what we call the Adaptive Battlefield, a more purposeful and focused soundscape that focuses on the information players need, when they need it, while reducing the clutter of unnecessary noise,” said Collin Ayers, lead designer on the audio team.
