The Chinese costume drama Are You the One, starring Zhang Wanyi and Wang Churan, released episode 5 on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The episode focuses on Mian Tang (Wang Churan) who is angry with her husband.

In this episode, Cui Xing Zhou (Zhang Wanyi) drinks too much alcohol and gets drunk. After he walks into the Cui Mansion, Mian Tang takes care of him. She makes him drink some water and puts him to bed. But Xing Zhou is still upset and asks his wife to leave him. Mian Tang, on the other hand, is quite positive. Although their house is not as great as the one in the capital, she hopes for good days once the porcelain shop opens.

Xing Zhou can’t understand how she can be so nonchalant about the problems in her life. Mian Tang asks him to leave his worries to her and promises to take care of everything. Her words comfort him, because no one has ever told him to take it easy. As he falls asleep, his mind goes back to the time he first saw Mian Tang. After her carriage was sabotaged, he found her lying unconscious on the riverbed.

The next morning, he finds that Mian Tang is not feeling well. He gives her some money he won in Go matches to use for business. She becomes very emotional and even starts to cry when she sees his kind gesture. Xing Zhou does not know how to comfort her.
