Remnant From the Ashes added an interesting twist to the Souls-esque formula by focusing on weapons, and thus even carries over into the sequel. In Remnant 2, you have a variety of options when it comes to ranged weapons, sidearms, or even melee weapons. While it’s nice to have so many choices, it can also be confusing to decide which ones to use. To help you out, here are three tier lists focusing on the strongest weapons in each category, ranked from best to worst.
Ranking of all main weapons in Remnant 2 (Awakened King DLC)
Whether you’re new to the game or a veteran, long guns are a go-to for most players. Not only do they offer good range, but depending on the weapon you’re using, they can even provide some serious firepower. These are your primary weapons and should be used for medium to long range combat.
Sidearms are your secondary weapon and are good for when you want to engage in close combat with your enemies. These are needed when you are in tough situations where you are out of ammo with your main weapon but can’t afford to reload. So just switch to them to continue the fight.
If you really want the Dark Souls experience, you should go for the melee weapons. But using the less powerful weapons can make the playthrough more painful than it needs to be. The weapons here have you covered, whether you want damage strong enough to stagger your enemies or something for longer range.
