Working less could help save the planet | CNBC
Dell has announced a new design concept for a laptop that is built to last and easy to repair. Experts say repairable electronics can reduce the impact on the planet by producing less waste.
“It seems like our society has unfortunately accepted that many electronic devices are disposable because they can't be repaired,” Amanda LaGrange, an electronics recycling advocate and CEO of Tech Dump, told Lifewire in an email interview.
Dell wants to reinvent the throwaway mentality with the Concept Luna design. The design is intended to make repair and maintenance easy.
