According to a new report out of Korea, Samsung’s recently leaked bean-shaped earbuds will likely feature active noise cancellation (ANC), likely in an attempt to compete with Apple’s wildly popular AirPods Pro models.
Specs: The new Bean Buds, if we may coin a phrase, will have dual speakers and triple microphones, and will be just under 28mm tall and 13mm wide, with a 26mm thick charging case, according to the report. The Beans should cost about the same as the current Galaxy Buds+, at around 170,000 won, or $140 USD. The addition of ANC is something our reviewer was hoping for, but he was expecting a higher price.
According to the report, the new Beans should last around 11 hours on a single charge, which seems comparable to current wireless ANC earbuds.
Conclusion: Of course, without official confirmation from Samsung, any new Galaxy Bud features or specs should be taken with a grain of salt. If they do materialize, the report says, the new Bean Buds could launch alongside new Galaxy Note iterations sometime in August.
