Richard Saville is a former Lifewire writer who wrote articles about the Raspberry Pi. A curious tinkerer with a longstanding interest in computers, he has written tutorials and project features for The MagPi, the official Raspberry Pi magazine, and for Average Maker, a blog about programming and single-board computers.

Saville's interest in Raspberry Pi led him to design his own range of add-on boards for the device, which he funded via Kickstarter. Saville is an active member of the Raspberry Pi community in the UK and can be found at "Raspberry Jam" events and on Twitter discussing single-board computers and his latest projects.
