Riot Games has previewed new custom global emotes for all League of Legends teams competing in tier-one leagues. Riot teased these cosmetics for the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational, and now they’re finally set to release soon.
THESE NEW EMOTES WILL BREAK THE GAME – League of Legends
League players were first introduced to custom emotes last year with the 2023 Season Kickoff emotes. Riot wanted to step things up a notch in 2024, with every team playing in a tier-one league this year getting its own emote.
League's new global emotes will be available on August 27 "in Riot regions" and on August 28 in China, according to Riot. 30 percent of gross revenue will go directly to the team that designed the emote. These emotes will be available for 350 RP.
Teams took this opportunity to get creative and honor their fans with memorable emotes. Dignitas throwing to Baron Nashor has been a recurring meme for years, and now the organization’s fans can celebrate that hilarious meme with an emote of Baron throwing the Dignitas logo.
