After receiving a lot of feedback and criticism from League of Legends players, Riot Games has revealed some major changes it will be implementing to the Mastery system in the future.

Firstly, one of the biggest changes the developers have planned is an update to the Mastery emblem design and emote, which has been a source of much complaint from the League fanbase. When the Mastery emblems' visuals were originally changed earlier this year, players were shocked by the new look, saying it resembled a "cheesy mobile game."

Riot has also acknowledged that while some of the changes to Champion Mastery look good so far, there are a few aspects that need to be changed, including the appearance of the emblem. Currently, the Mastery emblem designs are very different from their original appearance, featuring a starry design with very simple, modernized imagery.

The upcoming changes should be much better received, as the emblem still retains the same spirit of the original design with a modernized flair instead of the cosmos-inspired emblems we have today. The new emblems feature a similar color palette to the previous emblems, while also conveying the same level of prestige as before with the gold wings at the forefront of the design.
