Riot Games is ramping up its efforts to combat voice chat toxicity and abuse in VALORANT, according to a recent update from studio head Anna Donlon. And if you somehow can’t stop yourself from being a hateful bigot, the message is clear: Get out.

In today’s dev update, titled “Keeping Our Community Healthy,” Donlon acknowledged that existing punishments aren’t enough to effectively remove the most disruptive players from VALORANT and previewed some of the upcoming changes. But for the most egregious offenders who plan to cause harm no matter what changes are implemented, Donlon and Riot were adamant that they should go elsewhere.

"There is no room in our community for the most egregious behavior, and we will not compromise," Donlon said. "If you have to make truly malicious statements under the guise of casual 'shit talk' to enjoy gaming, please play something else. We won't miss you."
