There’s a lot of demand for televisions that fit perfectly into their surroundings, and Roku’s new product line makes it a lot more affordable to bring that aesthetic into your home.
Roku Pro Series TV Review | Ready to Challenge TCL and Hisense?
According to a press release from the company, Roku's new Pro Series TVs, which were first announced at CES 2024, are now available. They include 55-, 65-, and 70-inch TVs that offer a range of features similar to what you'll find on Samsung's higher-end The Frame line.
The Roku Pro Series TVs feature mini-LED backlighting, a 4K QLED 120Hz panel display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQTM, and Roku Soundstage Audio side speakers. According to Roku, the side speakers "provide rich spatial effects and deep bass." The TVs also have four HDMI inputs, work with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant, and come with several streaming service apps preinstalled.
In addition to the release of the new Pro Series TV line, Roku is also rolling out updates to the Roku OS, introducing OS 13. It's the new operating system that makes the Roku Pro Series TVs a solid competitor to The Frame. The most interesting new feature arriving with OS 13 (which appears to come preinstalled on the new Pro Series TVs) is Backdrops.
