This year promises to be hugely exciting for new and returning RuneScape players, with long-term plans for 2024 heralding a brand new storyline that will take you straight to a new boss dungeon and an entirely new game mode.

On May 13, RuneScape developers Jagex livestreamed the 2024 roadmap on Twitch, sharing an image shortly after. The developers explained that these upcoming changes, which are scheduled to run from April through December, will hopefully pave the way for a brighter future in terms of development and incorporating player feedback.

If all of this content materializes, others have boldly claimed that “2024 is going to be a big year for RS3”. Hopefully the developers can deliver this roadmap before 2024 and keep the hype going.
