Why Faide Should NOT Use Motion Tech Sometimes.. – Apex Legends
Apex is and has been one of the most popular games to emerge from the free-to-play shooter boom of the late 2010s, and perhaps with good reason. Much of the odds were stacked against Respawn Entertainment. The developer had already established a dedicated fanbase after Titanfall 2, and players were ready to get their hands on something that utilized a similar movement system while also expanding the scope of the game’s multiplayer and competitive gameplay. Apex met those demands with a surprise release in 2019, and has flourished as a fierce competitor to the likes of Fortnite, Overwatch, and Call of Duty. In its five years of existence, Apex has gone through 21 seasons, but recent changes have threatened its staying power.
ImperialHal joined the crowd today by declaring in a short post on X (formerly Twitter) that “Apex is dying” – a statement that suggests he’s concerned about the future of the title.
