April 8, 2020: The Android 10 update is now available for Galaxy J6 devices with model number SM-J600G. The update arrives as software version J600GUBU6CTC8.

April 26, 2019: Last week, the Indian variant of the Galaxy J6 got updated to Android 9 Pie and back then, we were optimistic that the same update would come to the J6+ soon. And true to form, the device is now receiving Pie in India as version J610FXXU1BSDE, bringing with it the new Samsung One UI and the latest April 2019 security patch.
The same update is also available in Europe (Germany) as version J610FNXXU1BSDE. Since it is an OTA rollout, it will take some time for all J6+ units in India and Europe to receive the download notification, so be patient if the notification hasn’t arrived yet.
April 18, 2019: Folks who are using the Galaxy J6 (SM-J600G) coming from India can now download and install a new update to Android 9 Pie. The update, which arrives as version J600GDXU3BSD9, also brings Samsung One UI and March 2019 security patches to the device.
