Samsung Galaxy Note 10: But why?
Samsung’s Galaxy Note phones have long had a reputation for being the biggest, most powerful phones out there, not to mention the most expensive. Combine that with the Note’s defining feature as the only flagship phone with a slide-out stylus, and the phones are relatively niche offerings for business users.
For 2019, Samsung has taken a slightly different approach. The Galaxy Note10 is still big, very powerful, and very expensive, and again, it’s a genuinely great handset. However, there’s also a new Galaxy Note10+ model that’s even bigger, packed with more advanced tech and extra features, and costs a bit more money.
On the one hand, that makes the standard Galaxy Note10 the more affordable and accessible version of the pack, with its sleek new design also making it feel much sleeker than last year’s extra-large Galaxy Note 9. On the other hand, Samsung’s trimming of the Note10 muddies the value equation, making this nearly $1,000 model feel oddly underwhelming considering the investment. Most users who simply want the best of the best will want to splurge on either the fully specced Note10+ or the more affordable S10.
