Samsung fans eagerly awaiting the next generation of premium Android tablets can rejoice. The tech giant has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S10 series is coming, set to hit the market before the end of 2024.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra – FIRST LOOK
While the recent Samsung Unpacked event in Paris saw the showcasing of a range of new products including foldables and wearables, the Galaxy Tab S10 series was notably absent. However, a representative for Samsung South Africa has revealed to Android Authority that the new tablets are indeed in the pipeline.
Interestingly, rumors suggest that Samsung will be streamlining its tablet lineup this time around. Reports suggest that the company may skip the base model and instead focus on the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra variants. This move could be aimed at more directly competing with Apple's iPad Pro lineup, which has larger screen sizes.
Both the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are expected to feature expansive AMOLED displays, with screen sizes potentially starting at 12-inches and going up to 14.6-inches for the Ultra model. This shift to larger screens fits with the growing trend of tablets being used for productivity and content creation.
