The beta version of Samsung Internet is now in its 19th edition and includes a number of new and improved privacy features.

Samsung Internet, like most other web browsers, has steadily been strengthened against threats to user security and privacy. And the latest beta 19.0 follows this trend with better protection against tracking and phishing, and more privacy awareness.

The 19.0 beta builds on the anti-tracking capabilities of 18.0 with what Samsung calls Enhanced Smart anti-tracking. It can reportedly detect web domains known to be hosting trackers and quickly intervene to protect you.

Protection against lookalike phishing has also been improved with better detection. So if you inadvertently visit a very unofficial website that tries to trick you into thinking it’s an official one, Samsung Internet claims that they’re more likely to spot the deception and warn you.
