Following up on its earlier promise, Samsung has announced the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update that brings with it the full suite of AI-powered features available on its premium Galaxy S24 series. Samsung will begin the rollout this Thursday, i.e. March 28, 2024, and will debut on the following devices:

The aforementioned devices get all the AI goodies as part of Galaxy AI. These include Circle to Search, Live Translate, Generative Edit, and Chat Assist. The features require an internet connection to use, while Live Translate and Generative Edit also require a Samsung account.
Unlocked versions of these devices will receive the update starting in April.
All Galaxy AI features are available for free and will remain so until the end of 2025. It’s unclear what the plans will be after this point. Samsung previously made headlines by revealing that it would potentially bring AI features to the Galaxy S22 as well, while the S25 could potentially introduce faster UFS storage in the future to better handle AI features.
