Samsung just announced two new Galaxy Book laptops with a focus on portability: the Galaxy Book Go and the Galaxy Book Go 5G. The standard Galaxy Book Go will be available on June 10, starting at $349, with the Galaxy Book Go 5G following later this year.
Samsung Galaxy Book Go: $349 best budget laptop?
The Galaxy Book Go appears to be a device meant for travel, with a shock-resistant design, 180-degree hinge, and up to 18 hours of battery life on a full charge. It’s designed to stay cool, too, using a power-efficient Qualcomm 7c Gen 2 compute platform that doesn’t require a fan. That keeps the laptop light (just over 3 pounds) and quiet, too.
Integration with the Samsung Galaxy Ecosystem is also a priority, as the Galaxy Book Go is designed to easily pair with other Galaxy devices and copy files instantly with Quick Share.
Specs of the Galaxy Book Go include a 14-inch TFT FHD display, a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in 720p HD camera with digital microphone, and Dolby Atmos speakers.
