Samsung's exponential growth of its Smart TV lineup continues with the unveiling of a new 83-inch S90C OLED model.

A new—and very large—smart TV is on the way from Samsung, joining the company’s 2023 releases in the form of an 83-inch 4K-class display. Though the 83S90C is also one of the more expensive large-screen TV models coming this year.
The 4K OLED display uses Samsung’s proprietary Neural Quantum Processor to reportedly offer sharper image contrast, along with more vibrant colors and deeper darks. It also features Pantone-validated color palettes, which Samsung says ensure images “look as incredible as they do in real life.” The company also claims its Neural Quantum Processor can upscale any video content to 4K (via AI), so it looks sharp regardless of its native resolution.
Both Dolby Atmos and “Object Tracking Sound Lite” are supported with the new S90C to simulate more immersive 3D surround sound. Voice assistance is also built-in, allowing you to use spoken commands to change the volume, find something to watch, and so on. Though it does include a SolarCell remote control that can charge via indoor or outdoor light (or RF waves such as from Wi-Fi, cell phone, and radio signals) if you prefer a more analog control option.
