SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive File Transfer Speed Test in USB 3.0 Port
SanDisk is a big name in USB flash drives, most of which are designed with a retractable connector (and a nice clicking lever that pops it in and out of its housing). The SanDisk Extreme Go USB Flash Drive has the same design.
But the most important feature for any flash drive is its read and write speed. While our tests were slightly below the advertised transfer speeds, we were still very pleased with the performance of the SanDisk Extreme Go with USB 3.0, making it a flash drive we can easily recommend for regular data transfers.
The SanDisk Extreme Go is housed in a bulky black plastic case. The casing feels hollow and cheap, almost like a toy that can be crushed by simply squeezing it. At nearly three inches long, it’s nearly twice as long as a regular flash drive. It comes with a small keychain, but the drive’s large size means we couldn’t attach it to our car keys.
