“American Murder: Laci Peterson” was the most-watched streaming original series in the U.S. from Aug. 16-22, marking its first full week of availability, according to Luminate. That’s up from fifth place with 255.3 million minutes watched the week before, though the docuseries was only available for two days during that window.

Interestingly, the title at the bottom of the TV chart was about the same subject. Peacock's "Face to Face With Scott Peterson" debuted in 10th place with 147.5 million minutes watched in its first three days of streaming.

"Emily in Paris" returned to Netflix for its fourth season, landing it a second-place finish with 843.6 million minutes watched in its first full week of availability. The dramedy has been a consistent performer for Netflix and is expected to continue to show up in the ratings this season, considering only five episodes were available in the initial drop. The final five episodes of Season 4 will be available in September.

The next three spots on the chart went to returning series: "Love Is Blind: UK" with 402.9 million minutes watched and "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4 with 351.7 million minutes watched, both in their second week on the chart, followed by "Love Island USA" Season 6 with 341.7 million minutes watched, which was consistently in the charts all summer.
