Scump is regarded as one of the best of all time on the sticks, so it should come as no surprise that he’s already flourishing in CoD competitor XDefiant. But with an ability like the Echelon faction ultimate at his disposal, it just doesn’t seem fair.
Scump tries out XDefiant
Like many current and former Call of Duty players, Scump jumped on Ubisoft’s new first-person shooter XDefiant post-launch yesterday, and it didn’t take long for the king to expand his domain. The former world champion certainly doesn’t need an extra edge, especially in casual lobbies without skill-based matchmaking, but that didn’t stop him from wreaking havoc with perhaps the faction’s most powerful ultra ability.

The Echelon faction’s ultra ability, Sonar Goggles, not only reveals enemy outlines, but also equips the player with the 5.7 silenced pistol of iconic Splinter Cell protagonist Sam Fisher. This pistol is not only synonymous with one of fictional spies, but is also deadly in the hands of one of Call of Duty’s best, having taken out six enemy players in a matter of seconds with a few shots.
