Now that Smite 2 has been announced for its alpha release, it seems that the battlefield of the gods has evolved. As we speak, the developers, Hi-Rez Studios, have decided not to port any skins from Smite 1 to Smite 2. This may sound disappointing, but the devs have promised equally attractive rewards in return. If players link their Smite 1 and Smite 2 accounts, they will receive Legacy Gems. This virtual currency can then be used to purchase Smite 2 content.
SMITE 2 – Account Linking Guide
Players don’t want to ruin their chances of getting rewarded for their grind in Smite 1. That’s why we’re here to help you link your accounts the right way. With that said, let’s get started.
Please note: Before we begin, I want you to know that there is no way to unlink your account. It's a one-way ticket. Only follow these steps if you're sure the data transfer from the prequel to the sequel is going well.
It is not confirmed whether you will receive all the rewards in the Alpha or Beta phase. But it is certain that you will receive the reward via in-game mail sooner or later.
