Sennheiser has unveiled its new SPORT True Wireless earbuds, designed specifically for athletes, with some impressive sound control features.
Sennheiser Sport True Wireless review: How are Sennheiser's new sports headphones for running?
The SPORT True Wireless earbuds feature dual equalization (EQ) functions in place of noise cancellation, which Sennheiser claims can even block out bodily noises like heartbeats and footsteps in certain configurations. Other notable features include a nine-hour battery life, IP54 rating, and audio codec support.
The two main features are Adaptable Acoustic and the EQ settings. The former lets you choose between open or closed ear adapters to determine how much ambient noise is allowed in. When they’re closed, you can turn on the Focus EQ settings to completely block out ambient noise.
If you have open ear adapters, you can adjust the Aware EQ settings to block out body noises, such as the sound of your own breathing. This ensures that runners are not distracted by these sounds and are more aware of their surroundings.
