Dragon's Dogma 2 features many tough decision-making scenarios, such as poisoning a river, with consequences that either haunt or reward the Arisen. One such scenario is a side quest called A Beggar's Tale, in which you must choose between giving the Beggar's Garb to Hilda or Celina.
A Beggar's Tale Quest Walkthrough | Beggars Garb ► Dragon's Dogma 2
This guide will show you both outcomes of the story so you can decide which character to choose for this side quest.
A Beggar's Tale is truly a tale of two lives and women, as giving the Beggar's Garb to either Hilda or Celina will have two drastically different outcomes. If you decide to give the Beggar's Garb to Hilda (Noble), after a few days she will simply tell you that Albert has a real job now, and you will no longer see him in Merchant Square. Hilda will give you 3x Onyx and 900 XP for your trouble.
If you choose to give the Beggar's Garb to Celina, you'd better be prepared for the consequences. After a few days, return to Albert's house in the Noble area and you'll find a guard at Albert's door. The guard will inform you of a grim murder where Celina murdered Albert and eventually committed suicide. For this ending, you'll get 3000G, 1 Noonbloom, and 900 XP.
