Slack has announced a new update that brings a streamlined, organized approach to its popular collaboration tool.
How to Create a PRODUCTIVE To-Do List in Slack *TIME SAVING*
New: There's a new navigation bar, a discover feature at the top of the sidebar, a new button that lets you write anywhere, new shortcuts, and collapsible channels, apps, and messages.
Navigation and organization: You can search and switch between conversations here, and find mentions, replies, files, people, and apps in the new navigation bar. Paid users can organize channels, direct messages, and apps into custom sections in the sidebar, like important stuff at the top and less frequently used stuff lower down. You can name these new sections with text and emoji, and nest things inside them.
New conversation: There’s also a new button to compose a message. You can start typing a message without worrying about who you’re sending it to or what channel you’re using. Even better, if you get distracted and don’t finish the message, Slack will save your message as a draft.
