The Smite 2 Alpha has kicked off again for Playtest Two and HiRez Studios has taken the opportunity to make a number of changes to the gods, items, and modes that were already live.
SMITE 2 – Alpha Weekend 2 Esports!
This time around, HiRez is adding more to Smite 2: two additional gods in Hades and Sol, and a bunch of extra items, like the Pendulum Blade, Staff of Myrddin, Sphere of Negation, the Breastplate of Valor, and Typhon's Fang.
The extensive Smite 2 Alpha update, first shared on May 30, also touches on everything from the “upgraded” Conquest mode to the map, visuals, and balancing. Among the biggest goals, the devs want to make objectives easier after Alpha One matches “took too long” and bring in more powerful gods so that everyone—not just bruiser tanks—can play.
Here are all the changes in today's Smite 2 update.
