Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story may be based on a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title played primarily by serious gamers, but this single-player game is primarily aimed at kids.

Nunu (the little boy) and Willump (the four-armed yeti) are best friends who travel through frozen lands to find Nunu’s mother, who has left mysterious clues to her whereabouts. In the game, you control Nunu alone and Willump, the large, friendly beast with a powerful, ice-cracking swipe. You’ll use Nunu to climb through various environmental puzzles and Willump to fight off the ice wolves and other enemies that threaten their progress.

“Nunu and Willump’s relationship is the driving force of the game, and we can’t wait for players to join this inspiring duo on their epic journey,” said Rowan Parker of publisher Riot Forge in a press release. “We’re thrilled to partner with Tequila Works to tell the story of these fan-favorite characters as they navigate the frozen wilderness of the Freljord.”

It’s a fun ride, to be honest, and while the threats are occasionally scary, nothing seems too serious as the two best friends travel from area to area, finding secrets and clues to the location of Nunu’s mother and making their way to the next set piece. It’s colorful, fun, and can be challenging (but not too much) to figure out how to solve the tricks and platforming adventures of each location.
