Sons of the Forest is a survival game that will test your creativity and wits like no other. Unlike the game's predecessor, which sees you caught up in a seemingly random plane crash, you are now part of a military team sent to investigate the disappearance of the Puffton family of three.
Things quickly go wrong and your helicopter crashes on the island full of cannibals and mutants, leaving you with one teammate. As well as fighting for your life, you get the chance to gradually discover a deeper story about the island, the Pufftons and the events that took place before your arrival.
The story of Sons of the Forest begins with Edward Puffton, CEO of Puff Corp and multi-billionaire, discovering the existence of a Golden Cube with extraterrestrial properties. When he found the island where the Cube was located, he immediately purchased it in an intense bidding war against Sahara Therapeutics, a company from the first game. Puff Corp built an underground resort on the island with living quarters, a gym, a nightclub, and other amenities.
