Having upgraded weapons is of the utmost importance in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, especially if you're grinding for Requisition points in Operations mode. There are four weapon tiers in the game: Standard, Master-Crafted, Artificer, and Relic. In this guide, we'll explain how to upgrade and obtain Artificer weapons (purple tier) in Space Marine 2.

You will need the Armoury Data currency to upgrade your weapon level to Artificer and it comes in three colours that indicate rarity. For the Master-Crafted level, the colour is green and the threat level of the Operations missions you need to complete are Minimal and Average. By completing missions in the Substantial threat level, you can get Purple Armoury Data, which is needed to get the Artificer weapon level.

Further down the line, completing missions at the Ruthless threat level will yield gold armory data for the Relic level.

To collect this currency, you must complete all Class Trials with an A rank and receive 18 Master-Crafted Armory Data.
