Get ready to spend a little less time staring at Google Calendar thanks to new updates that Google is rolling out. Maybe you can use the extra minutes to do something more useful, like listen to a podcast or do the dishes.

There’s a change coming: Creating Google Calendar events will no longer require you to click a “More options” button to add attachments, change details like an event’s visibility, or give guests permission to view the guest list and edit the event. The updates come a year after Google added other features like automatically adding guests and viewing calendars.

“With these changes, you can now add all the information you need to your Calendar event from a single window,” Google said in its blog post.

The Find a Time feature is also being updated, allowing you to view the calendars of potential guests so you can choose a time that works for everyone. Of course, this only works perfectly if everyone is using Google's calendar system to organize their lives.
