Now that it's been out for a while, Splatoon 3 players are starting to figure out what's popular and what isn't. Many of the old classics from previous games are still going strong, such as Rollers and Sloshers. However, the third game in the series shook things up by introducing the Stringers and Splatanas. Players may have a harder time deciding which weapon to use, but thankfully, every weapon is usable in this game. Some weapons perform better, usually because of their subweapon or special.

It seems like the shooter is the strongest weapon class in the game. They let players do everything from kill from a distance to scramble and score kills at close range. These are the shooters with the best subs and specials. The 52. Gal should get some extra attention because of how good Ink Wall and Killer Wail 5.1 are.
Despite not being in the S Tier category, there are some great weapons here. The Dualies are particularly good in skirmishes, and Reef Slider is a great special (extra great in Splat Zones). Chargers can also have great kill power at the cost of paint capacity. Also, Rollers will probably remain eternally popular, if only for their ability to secure kills with one quick slam.
